We have arrived at our little cottage in Yorkshire county in the little village of Pickering. Only Jim and Jane are going to really appreciate this shot!!! It has to do with how well the key worked.

Our living room that we collapsed in each evening after a day of touring.

This is Jane heading for the other door instead of waiting for Lee to get the key to work.

Just around the corner from our cottage.

Jane and I have disappeared into the town of Pickering to check out the shoppes. The men patiently waiting on the benches in the center of town.

Jane and Jim on path from cottage to Pickering

Fresco painting on church walls in Pickering.

This is what it looks like as you travel from one village to another in Yorkshire.

Lee was totally fascinated with the dry stone wall fencing through out England.

According to our tour guide, Jim Rankin, donkey rides on the beach is tradition.

Beautiful church in Scarborough

Looking from the church up the hill, I was fascinated with this building. I think it's a B&B now.

Anne Bronte is buried here in the graveyard by the church pictured above.

The Scarborough castle

Jim and Jane enjoying the day.

Quite the view, isn't it?

In the town of Scarborough we got Fish and Chips from this shop and sat on a bench overlooking the water and had lunch. Excellent fish, we assume it was very fresh.
Two guys who kept following Jane and I around.

How
phenomenal is that view?

Sheep everywhere

Robin Hood Bay

We got a workout doing these hills.

This was an interesting picture.
If you walked these hills you can see how it could happen.

Serious hikers like to walk from coast to coast in England. As you can see a total of 192 miles. Here are some hikers taking a much deserved break.

Go ahead, take a guess, what do you think it is?
This completes our first three days in Yorkshire. Tomorrow I'll try to get York posted. What a day that was.
