Below is a picture of the McDonald lodge. It sits on McDonald lake and is very rustic inside. Log cabin style and a huge fireplace with rockers all around it.

There are two of these tunnels on the trip we took today. All just chiseled out of rock.
We were driving what is known as the loop and the following pictures were taken along the way.
Lee kept saying take a picture of the road so they can see that this road is just chiseled out of the rock.
There are flowers everywhere, at one point, I counted five different colors all growing together along the road.
There are times you are looking at timber covered mountains and then times it just looks like giant rocks.

This picture doesn't do it justice but, when the light hits this mountain, there are many colors on those rims around the mountain.
There are a total of 40 glaciers in Glacier Park--here are just a few of them.
We had a real interesting display by the clouds the day I took these two shots. One minute they were there and the next the sky was clear again.


This is the lodge located in the area of the park known as Many Glacier. It is sitting on Swift Current Lake.
