White Sulphur Springs,MT Aug.7-9,2009

We left Glacier Park and headed to White Sulphur Springs, MT. We traveled 89 which started out looking like this mile after mile. I thought to myself, this is going to be a very boring drive. We seldom saw another car. As we were traveling down the road a street cleaner passed the other direction. We both had to do a double take. Why a street cleaner would be going down this road is a mystery to us.
As you can see, as the morning progressed the terrain changed dramatically. It was an absolutely beautiful drive. I fell head over heels in love with Montana!

Rolling hills, cattle ranches, and alfalfa crops.

We arrived at Conestoga campground. The picture above shows you what we viewed from our camper. The campground is an RPI and one of the nicest we've stayed in. It is very well kept and we would highly recommend it.

This is a picture of the mountains taken from the camper.

The sunsets were gorgeous.
As we left White Sulphur Springs and traveled to Yellowstone National Park we saw more beautiful landscapes in Montana.

We arrived at the Rustic Wagon campground mid afternoon. It seems to be a very nice campground but pricey. It's drawing card is that it's only a mile from the West entrance of Yellowstone.
