Birmingham, England

Welcome to Birmingham,England. Jane and Jim live in Sulihull but this is what they call their city.
The city was beginning to go downhill and according to Jim many funds were sunk into redeveloping the city and bringing it back to life. They have done an excellent job. As you can see above they have closed off the central area from any vehicle traffic and pedestrians are free the walk around without looking for traffic which we have found makes for more relaxing sight seeing and shopping.

Jim says there are more canal ways in Birmingham than is Venice.
Nice cafes, pubs, and shoppes along the canal.

If I remember right this is St. Martin's church is downtown Birmingham.

We got some delicious pork sandwiches from a street side vendor.

This is the court house. It is an anzing building. Jim used to come here to process some of the criminals he brought in.
